Habari! (That's "hello" in Swahili). My name is Damien, and I am 14 years old. My home church, Awaken Great Bay in Dover, NH, sponsors a team that travels to Kenya every year. They do amazing things and, in turn, see God doing amazing things there! It's made me want to experience this firsthand. I've never been on a missions trip, and I'm looking forward to this new experience, as well as how I can be used by God to help those who need it.

But I need YOUR help to raise money for my trip! This coming February 2025 I will be joining a team of volunteers to help run a Vacation Bible School for orphans. The team will also meet with widows to listen to their stories and participate in large food distribution events for the surrounding impoverished communities. James 1:27 says that true religion is visiting widows and orphans in their affliction, and I want to walk that out.

God is doing amazing things in East Africa, and I would love to be a part of it!
